The streak page: a calendar of practice days, your longest run and a freeze you can buy.

How a streak counts#

  • One completed practice session per day keeps it alive. The day rolls over at midnight in your time zone (set automatically from your device).
  • The flame goes orange when you've practised today and grey when you haven't yet.
  • Rio, the parrot, sends a reminder in the evening if the streak is at risk - switch this off under Notifications → Streak.

Freezes#

A freeze covers one missed day. Buy one in advance with coins from the streak page; it's used automatically. You can hold a small number at a time.

Quests and XP#

Every day has three quests (for example, 'finish two lessons' or 'get a perfect score'). Finishing quests and lessons earns XP; XP levels you up and unlocks shop items. Nothing in XP affects your course scores - those are purely about what you got right.

Common questions#

I practised but the streak didn't count.

A session counts when it's completed, not started. If you closed the app on the last card, open it and finish the recap. If it still didn't count, send us the date and time and we'll check the record.

I travelled and lost my streak.

The day boundary follows your device's time zone. Crossing time zones westward can give you a longer day, eastward a shorter one; email us if a trip cost you a streak and we'll restore it.
