The built-in dictionary picks the meaning that fits the sentence you're reading.

Long-press (phone) or double-click (desktop) any word in a lesson to open a small definition card. The dictionary looks the word up and then picks the sense that matches the sentence, so 'mean' in a maths lesson gets the average, not the unkind one.

The definition sheet: the sense that fits, a short example and related words.
  • Works on teaching cards, questions and Review feedback.
  • Definitions come from open dictionaries and are cached, so repeat look-ups are instant.
  • The sense-picker uses AI; if it picks oddly, the sheet lists the other senses too.
