Create an account (or continue with Apple or Google)

The three ways to sign up, what we ask for, and what happens to practice you did as a guest.

You can sign up with Apple, Google or an email address and password. All three create the same kind of account; the only difference is how you prove it's you when you sign in.

Sign in with Apple, Google or email. Guests keep their progress when they sign up.

Which should I pick?#

  • Apple - fastest on iPhone and iPad. You can hide your email address; we'll still be able to reach you through Apple's relay.
  • Google - fastest on Android and Chromebooks, and on any shared family Google account.
  • Email - works everywhere. Choose a password of at least the length shown on the form; we check it against known-breached passwords and block the weak ones.

If you practised as a guest#

Guest practice is stored against your device. The moment you create an account on that device, everything you earned (completions, XP, coins, streak) is attached to the new account. Sign in on a second device and it's all there too.

Students added by a tutor#

Tutors can create student accounts with a username rather than an email. If that's you, your tutor gives you the username and a first password; you can add an email later from Settings so you can reset the password yourself.

Under 13?

Tutorio follows the UK Children's Code. We collect only what's needed to run the account, never sell data, and never show third-party ads. Parents can read the detail in Children's privacy, explained.

Common questions#

I signed up with Apple and now I'm on Android. Can I sign in?

Yes - choose Continue with Apple on the Android app or the web and sign in to your Apple ID in the browser window that opens.

Can I change the email on my account?

Yes, from Settings → Account. We send a confirmation to the new address before switching.

Can I have both a student and a tutor account?

Use one account. Tutors can join their own classes as a student to see exactly what students see.
