When your tutor starts a live lesson, your app gets a notification and the lesson appears at the top of your home screen. Tap it and you're in; if you already have the app open it joins automatically.

A live lesson from the student's seat: the tutor's slide, your answer box, and the reveal when the tutor taps it.

During the lesson#

  • The tutor drives the slides; your screen follows.
  • Questions open an answer box. Your answer goes straight to the tutor's monitor; they choose when to reveal the correct answer to everyone.
  • The tutor can draw on any slide and you'll see the annotations live.
  • On iPhone, the lesson shows in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen with your current rank.

The finale#

When the tutor ends the lesson, you get a summary: questions answered, points and your place on the lesson leaderboard. Only questions the tutor revealed count towards points.

Common questions#

I was late - can I still join?

Yes, until the tutor ends the lesson. You join at the current slide.

My screen is stuck on a slide.

Pull down to refresh, or leave and rejoin from the home screen. The tutor's position is the source of truth, so you'll land on the right slide.
