Live Activities and the Dynamic Island

On iPhone, live lessons show on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with your current rank.

When a live lesson starts, iPhones running iOS 16.1 or later show a Live Activity: the lesson name, the current question number and, once questions have been revealed, your rank. Tap it to jump back into the lesson.

  • Tutors get their own activity: students joined, answers in, and the current slide.
  • Activities end when the tutor ends the lesson. Abandoned lessons are ended automatically so nothing lingers.
  • Turn them off under iOS Settings → Tutorio → Live Activities.

Common questions#

The activity is stuck on my Lock Screen.

Swipe it away. If it keeps happening, update the app - older versions couldn't be ended remotely.
