Every phone, tablet or browser you sign in on gets a device record that holds its push token, notification preferences and (for guests) progress. Settings → Devices lists them with the last time each was used.
- Sign out removes this device's session.
- Sign out everywhere ends every session at once - use it if a device is lost.
- Remove device deletes the record; the device will set itself up again on next use.
Why the app sometimes shows a setup screen
If a device's session is no longer valid (after Sign out everywhere, say), the app shows a short setup screen and signs the device in again. It takes a second.
