Learner profiles and tailoring content

Record a learner's needs privately; generated content and the accessibility profile adapt to them.

A learner profile is a private note about how a student learns best: reading level, pace, attention, specific needs. Tutors can upload an EHCP or similar document and the profile is summarised from it. Nothing here is shown to the student or other tutors.

  • Courses can be tailored for a student: the wizard reads the profile and pitches explanations accordingly.
  • The profile can switch on the accessibility mode for the student.
  • Delete a profile any time; the document is removed with it.
Sensitive data

Learner profiles may contain special-category data. Only upload documents you have the right to hold, and keep them minimal. See Children's privacy.
